2. Domain Name is Long
As your blog is hosted by blogger, your domain name will also include their brand, such as:
www.yourdomainname.blogspot.com
instead of the ideal which is
www.yourdomainname.com
. Your possible customers will easily know that your blog is hosted in blogger for free.
3. Blog ownership remains with blogger
You do not own your blogger blog. It means that if blogger one day shuts down, it owns all your contents and everything else in your blog. Unless you have a back up somewhere else, you could lose the whole blog. If blogger decides they do not like your blog, they can close it down anytime.
If you are planning to create an income online, you may start using blogger to get familiar with how blogs work. Later on, you may venture into using the other platform that majority of the professional bloggers use.
